Old FAST:

Notice how you can separate the runners in half to have easy access to the entire tract, so you can open it up and smooth it out; upper half, then lower half. Also, you have access to the ports from the inside, so you can bolt the bottom half of the intake down to a head and match the ports to each other. This is worth a lot of flow.
The new 102:

Here, the runners come out of the intake as a whole. They market this as being easy to port since you can physically hold them in your hand, but unless that runner comes apart, you can only port as far as you can stick a Dremel in there, and how accurate can it be without being able to see? Also, port-matching will be impossible (within reason). Note that this is a pre-production piece, so the runners are a bit shorter, but the layout is the same.

Ive been porting for about six years now and my guess is that it wouldnt make much of a difference from 92 ported to 102 ported on a 346, but one on a 402 or 421 should show a larger gain not to mention on a boosted application.

Didnt mean to keep everyone in suspense guys... Getting time to do what we want to do has been more difficult than originally thought.
I DO have a C6 LS2 H/C Vette hitting the dyno after lunch. We will Baseline the car as it sits and then install a 102mm manifold with several different TBs... Hope to have the results up good OR bad this evening/first thing tomorrow!!

Well there you go, from the man himself. The shops been busy and it must be tough to keep the customer cars being finished on schedule and do FREE testing for all of us here on tech. Thanks for the update Ron.
As I stated before, you got a very captive audience here and some people forget you are running a business, not just testing parts. Looking fwd to the results. Later Bro !!

Lets give him some time to get accurate results for a few different setups.
I rather get accurate results on the new 102 then just rush it through.
