Default Best QUIET exhaust flow?

I realize exhaust sound is VERY subjective. That being said, I am looking for a relatively hushed exhaust note everywhere except WOT. So far my favorite is the Dynomax Super Turbo system. Other suggestions?

BTW- I currently have (3" all the way) FLP Long Tube Headers into FLP HiFlo Cats and Y to the rear via single FloPro muffler and dual out. Way too raspy & loud for my taste.

I don't want to sacrifice breathing for sound. Should I stick with what I have and suck it up or go a different way?

Definately Magnaflow!!! I had a Magnaflow CB on my car when it was a 100% streetcar and I loved the way it sounded. I also run a Magnaflow CB on my '07 TBSS and it sounds great too. Plus Magnaflow is all stainless.

I know alot of people dont know about this muffler but im sure some have. But i have a LS1-cam/stall/headers/no cats/ 3" I pipe and over axle to a Hooker maxflow muffler, not to be confused with hookers aero chamber. It has zero rasp and great tone, and ever so slightly louder than stock. Independant test results that I found on google from some FORD performance magazine, it beat every performance muffler tested and they had all the big names. It supposedly flowed better than a 3" straight pipe... I have gotten compliments everywhere, I say give it a shot

I have an adjustable Borla with an electric cutout. Pretty happy with it.

I see someone mentioned this above, but my vote goes for SLP's Dual/Dual Catback.

I speak from first hand experience with it. We installed LTs/ORY to my bro's SS with factory installed Dual/Dual. It's definitely the most quiet catback.

It's too bad SLP no longer manufactures it. In order to find one you'll have to buy it used.

If you aren't able to find one, my next choice would be Magnaflow. But it's nowhere near as quiet as the Dual/Dual.

Custom y with magnaflow cats and flowmaster merge, magnaflow catback. Quiet while cruising but opens up during WOT, sounds awesome.

I couldn't be happier with my Hooker catback. Can't even hardly hear it at idle, but at WOT she screams. Best $319 I spent four years ago!

Magnaflow sounds good until you do heads/cam. At that point on my car it became extremely loud and raspy. Everytime I drove it someone either came up to me or pulled up next to me and asked what the car had in it. I went with a SLP dual/dual and now it sounds very tame until you stand on it and it draws much less attention, which is the way I like it.

I'd say you would be happy with the SLP Dual/Dual which I originally had, but if you aren't concerned about the budget look at the Corsa (especially since you have cats which help to clean up rasp). No drone, screams at WOT and you get their great looking tips....

I have the Dynomax Turbo with a cutout and CME. To me its the perfect combo. Nice & quiet for a daily driver and sounds real good when you get after it. Open the cutout and...

couldn't be happier with hooker. heres a quick vid from when we 1st put it on the stock setup. (don't listen to the fool saying it needed lots of fabrication) just had to cut back the tailpipe to get it lined up with the T/A bumper.

Magnaflow is what you want except for the cannon tips that come with the catback. I'd buy the muffler separately, have a muffler shop make a pair of 2.5 tailpipes and use some good dual wall tips.

I'm running a 14" Hooker Maxflow muffler described by zaner above. It's fairly quiet, but probably not as quiet as you're going to want. It is a little raspy when the weather is cold.
