Squealing from rear of the motor.

Hey guys I have a 99 Camaro SS. I have what sounds like a pulley squek but it's sounds like it coming from the rear of the motor. I know the rear main seal is leaking but not sure if that's why's causing it. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Is your car an auto or stick? If it's a stick it could be your slave cylinder...

first give us some more info of what you were doin b4 you heard the noise...were you racing, normal driving. did you change the oil recently?see any shavings? any other problems lately? what kind of mods(be specific)? does it idle and run just fine but it has the noise? sorry to say, but it sounds almost like a bearing! usually if you hear the "sqeaky squeak" from the motor...it means bearings. but not always.

No Ive just been driving normal nothing crazy. Mods are intake and exhaust on an LS1. The car has 176XXX miles though so it might be a bearing but it sounds just like a bad pulley. When I spun a bearing in my impala SS it didn't sound like a bad pulley at all. It idles and drives perfectly no hesitation at all.
