and can a BBK 80MM be ported, what size will end up as?

Stock is 78mm. When ported, the inlet size is not increased. If you feel in your throttle body, you will feel a distinct ridge. Removing that is the focal point of porting the throttle body.

You'll get all the performance for a fraction of the cost. The stock intake inlet is 78 mm, so having a throttle body bigger than that will not do you any good.

Stock TB is 75mm but porting them makes it a true 75mm. Stock has a ridge infront of the blade that hinders flow.

Inlet size is still bigger from the aftermarket TB hence more air flow. Not a huge differance but still more. Porting the stocker is definately cheaper. Ive had both but also swapped a intake so i couldnt tell u the differance if any.
