Default Flowmaster Catbacks

Does anybody have any actual dyno results online of a Flowmaster vs other aftermarket catbacks?

My stupid friend with a Mustang just swapped out his BBK for a Flowmaster, and he doesn't believe me when I tell him that the flowmaster is chokin him. He even told me he got a "decent power increase" out of it

Help please... thanks guys

Mustangs use a different series muffler than the F-bodies do. He's probably using 40 series mufflers, they aren't so bad on flow.

It's the crossflow 80 series mufflers that the F-bodies get the don't flow very well...

Mario, My 98 gains 2-3 mph with the cutout open as compared to the 80 series Flowmaster. 116 to 119. I would say that sucks.

Flowmaster 40's are a lot better than the 80's. There are 2 different 40's though. The "original" 40 series with the 3 chambers. Then they have the new delta flow 40 series with the triangle baffles in them. Nothing sounds better than a 302 with flowmasters and an offroad pipe.

BBK doesn't make a catback either. Only exhaust they have is headers and h/x pipes.

Flowmaster might not flow the greatest but it is the sound that I was looking for because I am not using cats. Sounds good to me.

No I don't have any pics but I'll get some. They are the 3" inlet, dual 3.5" outlet angle cut. I think they are the best looking tips that you could buy. I bought them from Thunder Racing.
