AIR delete

Ok what all do I need to run offroad headers on my 02 T/A. I'm sure this has been asked before but search didn't pop anything I needed.

If your replacing the headers and they dont have the AIR provisions, then the only thing you may want is a way to tune the code out of the ECU, also, if you remove the rear O2s, ie putting in long tubes, you will also need to tune out the code for them. Other than that, depending on how old your O2s are and the milage on them, you may need to replace them. Also, some ppl have issues from the car running lean from the header swap, so a tune for that may be needed. Just some things I have seen and done, I just replaced my headers with hooker longtubes, so I am hoping I am not getting lean, but everything else I ssaid above is what I did with a handheld.

Yah the predator seems to be the only one that can delete codes. Is the predator only havE one license? I'd like to split a tuner with my buddy so hp tuners seem to b the best option for us. Do I need to disconnect the AIR pump as well? Or will it be fine leaving it in

remove the whole air system and have it tuned out

I would take out the air pump... its not that hard and really no point to leave it in there... if I remember correctly its just 3 or 4 bolts that hold it in. Access it from the bottom of the car.

4 bolts, access from under the driver side front of the car. Just take the bottom cover off and you will see it there in the front of the wheel well, just watch out for the dirt that has collected on it when you take it off, will get into your eyes.
