Default Random Tech Metallic Cats

Are they legal in MA?

Has any dyno tested their car with about without these cats? How much power did you lose?

they would be illegal technically anywhere in the us unless they are in the same location as stock...though im sure powerloss is minimal...are you putting htem along with your pacesetters? let me know how it works out just put them as close to the headers as possible and you shouldnt have any problems...just cross those fingers they dont do a visual and actually know what to looks for hehe.

I hear tons of people getting by with the FLP setup.

I am more worried about if they will pass because they dont look like the everyday cat. The location isn't bothering me.

If I do anything I'll post before/after dyno results.

Dave, did you pass the all aspects of the state inspection with those? Did the tech act funny about them not being the normal size/shape of other cats?

They passed with flying colors in 2002... I had the cats put into Mufflex offroad cat bypass pipes, & they look like factory pieces... Emission tech didn't give them a 2nd look...

I want those tiny cats, they are outside but not as restrictive as the normal looking ones.
