Question Looking for some spark wires

Hee everyone,
I just saw another show off the american chopper series from Discovery channel here in Europe. The show that they follow the orange country choppers step by step.
They built one crasy *** bike, the black widow bike.
The part that I really liked were the sprak plug wires, the used red spark wires which looked kind off transparant red, and as soon they fired the bike up, you were able to see the spark going true the wire, like lighting.
I really liked the effect, how would that be on a LS1 in blue; I thought...
Does anyone know where to get such cool sprak wires, the bike ones were about the same lenght, but I don't know or they are good enough for a car or what so ever....
Hope you guys can tell?
(I know it is not very usefull with the hood closed, but when you pop the hood and show the engine.....probally just for my own idea )
thanks
greetings Peter

I'm really not sure where to find wires like that, but I bet if you email those OCC guys at their web site thay could tell you where they got them. I'd want to know what the insulation resistance of the transparent wires were though. Also the heat rating. This will also keep you at the top, Fred

My MSD 8.5 super conductor wires has a resistance of 40-50 ohms per foot. RFI suppression of 1500 ohm wires. I'm not entirely sure of the exact heat rating on them although it's pretty close to 500 degrees. I bought the custom set from Summit for just under $60.00. I'll do a search for OCC.

I'm thinking that they put the wires and ends on themselves. I just went to their site and their store phone# is 845-567-0595. The clear red spark wires part number is #4502. They sell the wires in a 7" length for $179. I have no doubt they could hook you up, but expect to pay for them to put the wires together for you. I'd ask them for a source of supply for the clear wire and build them your self. Give them a shout.

May be I'm missing the points, but it's going to be kinda hard to see those sparks on LS1 engine in a Camaro

Thanks, what was their website? I prefer email because of the language conversion.
The wires are pretty pricy indead..but maybe to list it as a future option.
Thanks for all your help.
