Default Loudmouth and cutout? Anyone have this?

I've searched but I cannot find exactly what I'm looking for. I love the sound of a cam chopping through a cutout, and I have Pacesetter longtubes, TSP ORY, and SLP LM2.. I want to add a cutout, but theres such little room between the merge and the muffler. I was thinking weld the cutout to the merge, or vise versa, have it welded right before the muffler, but that may not actually affect the sound too much...

Was wondering if anyone had this setup and could share some info/pics? Thanks

i have the setup you want to do. I put my cutout right after my tq arm brace /after the y pipe trust me it sounds way different with it open you will definetly notice a difference with it open vs closed thr lm2 muffler setup. nice choppy sound and screams i gain 9 hp also with is open vs closed. good luck and let me know how it worked out for you.

no i dont but just put it as close to your y-pipe as possible and you'll be fine . I personally run the manual one with wing nuts I dont mind it and i think it flows better then having anything in the way like the butterfly when its open you know.

BS! There is no freaking way you gained 9hp bypassing a LM1, or 2 with a cutout. I've had both of those systems and they are nothing but empty resonators. The lm2 "muffler" has a mesh screen wrapped around the inside of it that does practically nothing. I had a LM2 set up on my car with a cutout and installing the cutout was a waste of time. The only difference I noticed is with the cutout open the noise was closer to where I was sitting than with it closed...

I'm wondering if it will actually be worth having an e-cutout installed there. Sounds like it will. I just love the sound of a cam idling through the cutout.

thank you. it is not a waste of time i also am running hooker headers and my gains are real . car also picked up 1.36mph in the 1/4. to op just do the cutout for yourself and you wont regret it.
