I had kooks 1 7/8 headers and didn't have the steering shaft rub. I have ARHs now in same size and There is no similarities between the two. The ARHs fit better as the above pictures show. Are a little heavier too. But I'm not worried About it Cause it will absorb more exhaust noise. I just thought the 02 sensor placement was odd for the driver side us all

I feel like an idiot asking this but I've never seen it posted. I look at the pictures and although I'm pretty sure that they are I can't be positive. I just want to know forsure if the ARH are actually stainless steel like the Kooks. I assume they are but I want to be reassured. lol thanks guys

Yes, stainless for sure!! One of the main reasons they are so expensive!

Alright next question, how much does it usually cost to get a pair of LT's ceramic coated on your own. I would just like to keep the heat down and would rather not wrap them.

thanks.

Having owned both i like the Kook's better.

Flanges and primary entry - Kooks, they also included flange bolts, ARH did not

Bends - Kooks

Lighter weight - Kooks

Welds - would be nice to see a little better on both

F body fitment - ARH seems to be the consensus

Collector - Kooks ball connection is nice along with the extra O2 bung, ARH are fine, standard design.

ARH is pretty sparse with pictures, this is all you get... Theirs looks better, but not great:

Sure looks a lot like Texas Speed's cat'd Y:

Ahh, but have you also installed Kooks? That is what this thread is about -- ARH vs. Kooks.

How do THOSE TWO compare?!

Keep on topic.

The missing question and answer is how do both fit on CONVERTIBLES (note the cross brace, etc.), and were they actually test-fitted on them.
