Can anyone with the AC version vouch for how this kit actually performs? I know the non ac kit works awesome, but there is no way I am getting rid of my ac.

this replaces the slp ram air kit...it extends to receive fresh air and is 2.5 times larger...

that is a great kit too, not sure what you mean by 7" of ram air...my non ac kit has 50in^2 of surface area...2 4" holes for the sux2bu kit is 25in^2...now I am sure there is a point where it is overkill and doesn't add anymore...also this kit is for the people that don't want 2 5" holesaw holes in their radiator support...that was my reason for making it or else I would have the sux2bu kit too...also to do the kit right with nice hose not 5-10 dollar al flex dryer hose you will be closer to $100 doing it yourself...plus you will need to make a plate to accept the 2 hoses inside the box if you want it done right...anyone priced out 5" holes saws lately...

again it is a great system and each person has different sacrifices they are willing to do...everyone likes something different...

i did 3.5in dryer hose. You dont have to worry about turbulance from the piping because the airfilter / lid fix that issue. i used some 3.5 to 5in rams on the end of the hose to the bumper and used metal duct tape and fixed it all up.
i cut out the 3.5in circles in the radiator support with a jig saw.. painted it all black, cut out some of the stock grill. You cant tell the rams are there at all. literally felt a difference in pick up with this mod. and in 100 degree air, it doesnt drive all crappy.

So whats the normal price on the AC version and what is the sale price on it? And I'd have to call speed inc to get the AC version instead of ordering on the web correct?

Sale prices are.....

non A/C $179.99

A/C $ $194.99

Regular price is.....

non ac 199.99

ac 214.99 ? not sure

And im not sure if its always free shipping but it is in this case at least.

If you want the one to use with ac you need to call them.
