Y-pipe or True duals

Y-pipe or True duals Ok has anyone dynoed their car and see the how much difference there is if I was going to go true duals or use a Y-pipe. I have looked and people are saying they have used a Y-pipe with a 4" pipe and they have gotten good results and I have heard people have used a X or H pipe and have gotten more power has anyone compared the two??
The reason why I am asking is because I lowered the car and I dont have much clearence space for true duals and I was thinking of removing the brace that runs right beside the driveshaft that connects the transmission and rearend together but Idk if that brace has any major benefits so idk

I'll try to find the post, but there is someone who has a car w/ a 408 or 402 that changed just the exhaust setup and found that the difference between a properly setup Y-pipe and 3" true-duals was negligible. I'm still on the fence myself and have been trying to figure out which way to go. I think I may go with the Y-pipe first since it is what our cars were designed to accommodate and then if I'm not happy I'll try the TD over the axle.

ok thats the main problem is where to put the mufflers the pipes i think i can get around but flowmaster mufflers are pretty big so i have heard alot of people going for the magnaflow which mufflers do you have on yours?/

did u put them on right before the rearend and then dumping the pipes pver the axles?? thats where it seems most people are putting them on at. I just dont wanna be straping my mufflers i bought so Hooker competion long tube headers and i dont think they are going to be a factor

ok thanks yea i would still like to see how you have your pipes ran I just wanna see because my local muffler shop thinks im crazy so i just wanna tell them this is what i want and show them exactly where the pipes are going
