i my self will never put a flowmaster Collector in any set up thats why i chose to pay a bit more and go to a better rout,

the flowmaster is a good 2 into 1 collector but i wouldnt call it merge collector, i would call it 2 into 1 standard collector,

similar to what we see in the hooker and pacesettel headers they have the standard collector (venture collector) not like the better brand kooks and arh the come with a good MERGE COLLECTOR.

here are some pics of my 3" to 3.5" MC

Two red and two blue lines -- I am not clear what each represent?

Red lines are post-tune numbers, blue lines are pre-tune numbers.

holy afr

Enginehp that looks like a really nice merge...I went with the flowmaster for the price too...all the others like you have were well up there in price...how much did that merge cost...

as for never putting a flowmaster on a car, there are a ton worse than it...or not even a merge like I had before just one pipe slammed into the side of the other...it serves it purpose especially with the 4" outlet...

So why are there two red and two blue? This is two runs total, correct?

Yeah, pre-tune and post-tune. One set of lines (the flatter of the two) is the torque curve, the other is the horsepower curve.

ive also tossed around the idea of swapping out my pacesetters for some 1 7/8. TSP headers are very tempting at the price. Im curious on edelbrock 1 7/8.

$194 for 3"-3.75"

304 stainless

But then I found this one for $70+ shipping in stainless...I wish I would have found this before I got the flowmaster...Oh well someone else can have a sweet setup now for only a couple dollars more than the flowmaster...Only thing I wish they had it with a 3" inlet to 4" outlet.dum But I guess 3" to 3.5" isn't bad and will be easier to fit.

^ Haha, looks like Corsa could use a redesign to better support their high price tag!

here are the results for 1 3/4" to 1 7/8"...

not apples to apples due to an ewp and different y pipe but still very informative...
