Default Will this be enough?

I have $614 that i have saved up over the past few months and was wondering if this would be enough money to get my header set up. I want to get the ceramic coated Pacesetter long tubes but i was wondering if i could just get the headers and put a muffler on the end of them and not even use a y pipe. Is this possible? It would save some money. thanx alot.

Well it would work but i dont think you will have the clearence around the tranny a crossmembers. It would hang pretty low i would think. For that money you could get the y-pipe if you wanted. Paces setters are cheap

You have more than enough to install Pacesetters if you go the cheap route like I did. I used the Pacesetter kit to extend my 02's, re-used my stock exhaust gaskets & did all of the needed modifications to my Y pipe with a sawzall & exhaust couplers. The only thing I spent money on was $12.00 for a set of NGK TR55's & I bought 3 - 3" stainless exhaust band clamps from NAPA. I think that the Pacesetters & ORP shipped to your house is around $550, Stainless band clamps =$30 & spark plugs = $12.00. If yoiu do it my way you will still have enough money left to get yourself a sammich & some beers when you get the job done. OOPS just noticed you are 16 how about you use the extra money for some Cokes & Gummy bears.

If anyone ever starts a Pacesetter install Sticky, I have some good pix of how high you need to get your car to do the install & pix of the home made extended 02 sensors.

In the end you will need to buy 02 extensions anyway, because if you put your car in the shop & it has 02 Sensor problems they won't be able to find some long enough to fit your application. So next time I make an order from a Sponsor I will add a set of O2 extensions and install them with my old rear 02's and that will prevent any problems if I'm outta town & my wife has any car trouble, becasue she won't be able to explain to the mechanic that I made my own Extensions.

I just visited TSP and the 24'' o2 extensions are $25 a piece, o2 simms for $90, headers are $350 and the ORY pipe for $125 for a total of $615 is it necessary to have all of these parts or can I be ok without some? thanx

You don't need the 02 extensions, you can make your own & you don't need 02 sims - you will have an SES light lit because of no rear 02's but it doesn't hurt anything & you can add sims or custom tuning later.
