but you can see that there is a ridge right before the
blade seating circle and some sharp edges at the PCV
and IAC ports which will create turbulence you don't
need. And porting would also include ensuring the blade
can mechanically travel to dead center (bump-stop).
Of course making it do so, may involve some other
things like bending the gas pedal arm for adequate
cable draw.
Just be smart about it and don't hog into where the
blade seats. And if you decide to epoxy the ports,
be sure your IAC still has about a 3/8" bore to work
with or you may have some idle surge result (been
there).
