Mine didn't line up great either, you just have to hold up the exhaust while you put the bolts in, a jack will help you a lot. I like the sound, and it's what I was going for....something deep, clean and quieter than what I had. My Kooks y and GMMG was just obnoxious with a cam on a 111 LSA. I do have one exhaust leak behind the driver side cat and the tips are still 1/4" out from being level.

Well thats good you like the sound. Did you happen to get pics of the hanger by the trans? What will be the fix for the exhaust leak? How tight did you make the clamps? Im thinking maybe an ehaust shop will be the only way to make perfect...

Did you not watch the video I posted a couple pages back? It shows where the the trans bracket/hanger mounts...and you need to use an impact on the clamps drawing them in until the "u" shaped spacer is tight to the clamp with no gap per say.

Sorry, didn't get you a pic...gymnastics night for my daughter yesterday. If it helps you use the two holes farthest away from the pipe on the exhaust bracket.

I know what the leak is from, the trans crossmember brace is preventing the pipe from fully seating into the coupling. I'll have to lower it a bit. An impact would have gone a lot faster, but I just used a 1/2" drive ratchet till I couldn't turn it anymore.

Yea a impact is a must...I have no leaks after using it. If I get a chance Ill take a better pic of the trans bracket.

Thanks for the updates guys, keep 'em coming! I'm hoping my electric impact will work as I don't have an air compressor in my garage yet.

Also, I currently have the UMI DSL and PHB, so I will let everyone know if they work with this exhaust or not. Once it all arrives, I will give my own updates and pics.

Sure wish I had a lift to install this kit, hopefully I can get it all lined up with the car as high as possible on jack stands.

Good to know! I thought I read earlier in this thread that the UMI stuff would work too, so I can relax on that now. Just can't wait to see the kit in person

Yep its sure nice. The drivers side header will go in through the top to help you out there. The passenger side will fit up from the bottom easy.

Is it easier to put the driver's side in from the top? I went from the bottom with both sides with my SLP long tubes.

Also, I need to get heat tape or does it come with the kit?

Just dont tighten them so tight you break the bolt and have to spend $8 and get a new clamp. Ask me how I know haha. This install is really becoming a pain in the ****.

I wonder if it would work with my ARH 1 7/8 long tubes? This exhaust is getting more and more tempting every day

this exhaust flows enough cfm to support 1200hp... a cutout wont gain you anything but extra noise.

This exhaust is starting to **** me off. Got everything lined up, tips are perfect, longer bolts and washers for the DSL. Now it's hitting the frame where it goes over the axle on the passenger side. I'd like to just put a piece of heater hose between it and the frame but I'm sure it would melt.
