I have a question for those of you guys who have this system before the revision? How many of you had to cut their system because it stuck out the bumper too much? I think I remember seeing some Camaro guys doing it but I dont know if any of the TA guys had too. Interested in a used system that was on a Camaro but the passenger side had to be cut 2" to line up correctly.

Cant speak for TA guys, but given the battles I had with BOTH versions, I had to cut mine about 2" at various locations of the system to tuck "correctly". Kooks confirmed with me the system was designed around the TA fascia due to its size which made Camaro fitment appear a little long.

Ya that makes sense since the car in the original video was a TA. Makes it hard to pull the trigger on this used system, I feel like itll give me headaches. The extra $400 for something brand new seems like a smarter choice if I might end up putting more money into the used system trying to get it to fit right.

Pics? "Fits fine" is subjective. Mine bolted up too....just hung out to far for my liking, but the difference between Camaro fascia's and Formula / TA fascia's rearward dimension is the biggest issue between them.

sad to see everyone having so many fitment issues with this system that costs so much. I have really been going back and forth with this system and now I almost rather go with a B&B catback or something along those lines. My question is it says you need the BMR dsl001 and then the bmr phb relocation kit. I have a spohn chassis mount torque arm and dsl part # 405 or here is the link http://www.coloradospeed.com/spohn-c...ird-p-129.html. does anyone know if there is any chance in making it work with this?

You don't even need a DSL. It's just recommended for safety because you remove the tunnel brace. Any PHB or DSL should work, they just say BMR because their in bed together. The MWC loop works the best though, it goes over the DS instead of under giving much better clearance.

I don't think that setup will fit after looking at the pics. Actually I don't think it will even be close. I ended up putting a trans relocation crossmember in because it has a smaller footprint and used a long TA (MWC setup). My stock crossmember cleared (1/8" at most) but would hit on a bump or hard acceleration. Or just cut off a small piece of the corner.
Kooks made the jig off thier header design and length. I have seen some guys use other headers but they had to do some cutting at the very least.

May be a stupid question but is it worth it to get the exhaust partially or completely welded together? This is the first exhaust I've ever put on so I'm not confident in my clamp placement on joints so that may be my issue. I always seem to have at least some small exhaust leaks I can't get rid of....I fix them in one spot and then I get one somewhere else.
Trying to find an exhaust shop willing to do this for me is difficult because my car is too low for a ramp lift....ugh.
