What exactly did you use? I found the pictures of your melted tank and the ones you just posted. Appreciate the help, trying to get this system finsihed. I got the upper panhard off without removing the tank heat sheild. Does that heat shield interfer with it that much?
PS Im just jealous, your cars nicer than mine!

Yes, the shield interferes that much. Was easier to pull it than fight it. I used "Heatshield Products" self adhesive mat....picked up from Summit. Bought the reflective tape for the mat edges to prevent fraying, cleaned the hell out of the surface and went to town. Was a lot easier with the tank on the ground, but you should have enough room with the exhaust off.

Bought the reflective tape for the mat edges to prevent fraying, cleaned the hell out of the surface and went to town. Was a lot easier with the tank on the ground, but you should have enough room with the exhaust off.

Im not going to drop the tank but I think your right there is plenty of room to work so it shouldnt be too bad. And post all the videos youd like, sounds amazing. Its motivating me to finish even with a whole lot less cubes I know this setup will sound awesome.

I got a great price on one from Maryland speed so I pulled the trigger.
