Your link brought me to the last page of the thread. Went back awhile to find the pictures but I appreciate it.

What exactly did you use? I found the pictures of your melted tank and the ones you just posted. Appreciate the help, trying to get this system finsihed. I got the upper panhard off without removing the tank heat sheild. Does that heat shield interfer with it that much?

PS Im just jealous, your cars nicer than mine!

Lol, just bustin ya Mac...

Yes, the shield interferes that much. Was easier to pull it than fight it. I used "Heatshield Products" self adhesive mat....picked up from Summit. Bought the reflective tape for the mat edges to prevent fraying, cleaned the hell out of the surface and went to town. Was a lot easier with the tank on the ground, but you should have enough room with the exhaust off.

I just used acetone...a couple times with a clean rag each time. Seems to be holding up just fine for me though to be fair, it will never be subjected to any weather other than sunshine.

I've got an idle clip a few pages back with cats. Here's one without....(lmao, sorry Mac....you never said anything about vids! )

Thank you, Im gonna look into that. Going to see if the local stores have anything comporable. I have a roll of reflective tape. Kooks provides the smallest most useless piece of tape Im not going to drop the tank but I think your right there is plenty of room to work so it shouldnt be too bad. And post all the videos youd like, sounds amazing. Its motivating me to finish even with a whole lot less cubes I know this setup will sound awesome.

any issues in doing so? Never understood the need for a dsl when purchasing this exhaust.

I'm running this exhaust with UMI 3 point subframes. No issues at all.
