Just got everything installed. This setup is loud!!! I love the sound, but the cabin noise is pretty loud.

Anyone else have issues with this bumping the transmission crossmember brace? It clears by about 1/16", but when I accelerate at even half throttle it rattles like crazy.

Yes, but the car only has 18k miles on it. Guess they still could be a little saggy though.

its the age of them at this point...I picked up an 01 NBM Z28 a few years ago with 11k on the odometer, installed ARH LTs and left the mounts in, big mistake, y-pipe banged like a Tijuana hooker! I am running UMI solids now on my 99, did not want to mess with dis-assembly of the stock clamshell/reinstall with polys.

ok...forgive me if Im looking at this the wrong way. But wouldnt new mounts raise up the motor causing the intermediate pipe to get closer to the trans crossmember brace?

Mine did not with the solid UMI mounts, however I have a UMI K-member with welded in motor mount pedestal on this car as well. I could not say if the UMI solids would raise or lower the car with stock iron pedestals/k-member.

EDIT: I don't think they would with stock k, but would check with UMI.

You could be right, may just be too much flex in the stock mounts. Don't know if it's worth changing them with ony 1/16" clearance though. I think i'm going to just remove the brace and see if I can slot the holes to try and get 1/4" over toward the passenger side. If not I live with it or put in a different trans brace with a smaller footprint

There is a little room to move that cross-member over, definitely worth a try before motor mount install! Just loosen the trans mount and cross member fasteners, support the trans with a floor jack and try to move the cross-member.

It might have been addressed here but I don't really want to go through all 40 pages.

Can anyone confirm if the MWC 9" and their LONG torque arm will clear this exhaust? The pic above is a little blurry. Eric recommended the short as he wasn't positive if it would clear or not. But I'd rather do the long if I can. I'm lowered 1.25" Thanks!

If it does clear with the long arm how tight is it?

EDIT: Got under my car to check for clearance on the stock TA and I have a good 1/2" - 3/4" from my exhaust to the bottom of the TA. So if the MWC arm isn't lowered at all over stock with their relocation crossmember I should be fine.

Anyone know for sure....I may order my rear on Monday.

Well, I finally took the plunge. Ordered Kooks 1-7/8" headers today with the Kooks True Duals.

Can't wait!
