I got it with cats. I'll post up a video when I get it done. I was a little surprised at the weight too, my previous setup weighed 63lbs, and the shipping weight of the Kooks was 70lbs, and the two boxes are huge. That was also with an older aluminized Kooks y-pipe, stainless weighs moore. Only thing that I'm a little worried about is ground clearance since I'm lowered 1.25"

It's known to sometimes have better clearance than stock. Just take your time with the install and tuck it up nice.

My shipping weight on headers was 37 lbs for 1 7/8 race version. Shipping weight for the exhaust is 55 lbs, but I havent received it yet and it says its in two different packages so im not sure if thats the comined weight or not. So all together it looks to be 92 lbs. Not sure if thats good or not...

The Exhaust comes shipped in to different boxes, one weights 55lbs, the other is 45, and the headers 35. they labled both exhaust boxes the same weight but one is actually heavier than the other i weighed them myself

So I weighed everything...came out to 67lbs with cats and single tips. This does not include the headers as I already had them on my car. Not bad considering how everyone talks about how fat this system is. Only 4lbs heavier than my Kooks aluminized y and GMMG. Now, this might not be saying much for GMMG either...I have no other cat-back to refer to on weight.

I dont see how it could be 67lbs. Looks like its going to be more like 100lbs without headers.

Do the plugs need to be SS or does it even matter?

Well looking like and actually taking the time to weigh the whole system are two different things entirely. The shipping weight printed right on the boxes was 70lbs, you think UPS would just write off 30lbs to be nice?

Brntws6 this is transws6am a member on here. Here is his bird lowered 1.25 inches with kooks true duals. I have awsome clearance better than stock also no rasp. I got third in best exhaust for springfields il route 66 car show. There was over 500 cars if that tells you anything. If you have any questions with the install you can email me.

The heat shield for the over the axle part will have to come off. I took it off. And put the tape there but bpught more from otterzone. It was almost 3 inchs away from the tank so i know it wont get the gas to hot. The hangers it cam with replace the back ones. You have to keep the one by the tranny though. 2 of the hangers will go by the bumper to help keep up the tips. Good luck on the install.
