Can anyone confirm if the MWC 9" and their LONG torque arm will clear this exhaust? The pic above is a little blurry. Eric recommended the short as he wasn't positive if it would clear or not. But I'd rather do the long if I can. I'm lowered 1.25" Thanks!

If it does clear with the long arm how tight is it?

EDIT: Got under my car to check for clearance on the stock TA and I have a good 1/2" - 3/4" from my exhaust to the bottom of the TA. So if the MWC arm isn't lowered at all over stock with their relocation crossmember I should be fine.

Anyone know for sure....I may order my rear on Monday.
It clears...tight, but clears.

Has anyone with this exhaust melted their gas tank? After a rolling half mile event I found a puddle of fuel in my trailer to discover a melted gas tank just to the left of where the dual over the axle portion of the exhaust hangs? I actually hope I am the only person but am curious if anyone else has had this issue?

I've never seen that before, that is scary! Header wrap on the piping by the tank should take care of the problem. Bob

And a little insulation on the new tank doesn't hurt

What kind of tape is that and where did you get it?

Used their tape to secure the edges from fray.

I acually had a small spot where my GMMG melted the tank...about the size of 2 quarters. And that was through the heat shield.

I keep checking this setup and it seems to be doing fine without the heat shield. But that tape is a good idea!

I'll make some once I get it on. I'll probably do some cruising and WOT blasts inside the car. Mind you, I have a high stall, so it'll just amplify the sound big time.

Holy hell those are some mighty large exhaust tips you have...

Oh wait a second, I said this 3 years ago? Wow, you're an idiot.

Anyways, I was just looking at this thread because I wanted to see what the new gossip was. Thinking about going back to true duals, and this is the only dual setup I would buy for an 98-02 F-body. No more low hanging, smelly *** dumped exhaust. I think single tips probably, although the dual tips might look good too.

Finally installed the system. Overall I really like it and the sound I love. I still need to do some tweaking though.
