Sounds really cheap, even if painted I would be weary about who is advertising them

their on clearance. I dont think they are a sponsor on here but its legit i have ordered from them before. I honestly dont care too much if they are painted or not. They're long tube headers so what do you think?

What do I think?
I think you SHOULD care if they are painted
Otherwise they will rust out in a short period of time.

I would definetly go atleast ceramic headers, they are great with heat and will stay looking good with no rust for longer than the painted ones

I've been wondering about the longevity of the painted headers. I understand the ceramic coating would be better, but on a DD do the painted headers rust faster or what. How many years of use are we talking. That sounds like a decent deal, but I am just leaning towards paying the extra money for coated.
sorry to hijack the thread.

FWIW I got bought a used set of pacesetters and painted them with some high heat (2000*) paint and they have been holding up great for over a year. They seldom see rain.

Coated Pacesetter headers are no where near "best of the best". In my experience and looking at hundreds of threads over the last few years the minimum I would get, even as a broke student looking for cheap mods, would be to get Pacesetter Coated Headers.

IMO Painted headers are for budget build track cars that won't see water because they are used only at the track.
