yes, another 2K idle thread...
Having issues with my cars idle and dont know what the problem is. Cold start my car idles fine between 800-900rpms. Once I drive the car and it gets to operating temp if I come to a stop the idle hangs anywhere from 1500-2000rpms. It doesnt matter what gear Ive come from, if Im in nuetral or in gear with the clutch pushed in.
Also seems like the cooler weather has made it more noticeable. If I shut the car off and restart it after its been at operating temp it will idle fine. What could my problem be? Vacuum leak? Bad sensor somewhere? Any help would be appreciated. Car is an '01 with a manual trans. Mods are in sig and car has been tuned.

When did you first notice the problem? Was it after you installed the LT's, or any other significant thing? I've heard about the throttle body sticking and causing high idle issues. Hopefully someone smarter than me will chime in for ya

Didnt happen after the install of anything in particular...just sort of started happening recently.
Where should I start with vacuum leaks? Is there a "common" problem area?
Thanks,
Chris

The tune should be fine...it has had the same tune with no modding done and it ran fine before, so Im thinking it has to be something mechanical or a bad sensor. I will be purchasing an EFI Live V2 later this week so I can log, review and modify the tune if there is a problem.
Also, I checked for vaccum leaks and didnt find any...what other possible problem areas should I check?
