SSRA Mega Mouth?
Anyone tried this yet? I damaged my FTRA and am not running AC. I saw it on Ebay, but have not been able to find another one? I like that it's made out of poly compared to sheetmetal.

The SSRA has been around for years. I have one and it works great...3mph gain in the 1/4 back to back weeks with the same DA. I'm not sure if the "mega mouth" is any different. The design looks the same in the pictures.

The OP saw the SSRA Mega Mouth on a local GM board here in Minnesota. It isn't on eBay yet. I will post the LS1tech sponsor here soon when it's finalized. This is second prototype of the Mega Mouth.
Here is the link where he saw it.

We had one of the original SSRA kits in my wife's daily driver Camaro when it was a high 10 second baby cam set up and the SSRA definitely helped us achieve the 10 second status especially back in 2002. We actually just installed the aluminum version on her new low 11 second DD and improved .10 and 2mph in similiar DA.
Her car has transitioned into a 9 second track only car that will run the same ET all day and is in need of a good air induction kit like this. Since we don't have the A/C anymore, this would be an ideal opportunity to get before and after results.
I'll keep ya'll posted if we give it a shot.

If been talking to the guy (Al) that makes the kit... He's in MN. He tells me the mega mouth is just about done, just needs some before & after numbers.
Price should be around $179 for the kit, also won't fit A/C cars.

The basic design and fitment is the same, however there is huge difference in the actual size from "mega mouth" opening (I call it the bulldozer) through the runner all the way up to the opening on the upper portion.
