Nice find. I'll probably order one of these for my ls3 intake.
Anyone have any driveability issues?
Thanks,
Kory

It's a 4" TB. essentially an on/off switch, but will take some getting used to. Still have yet to hear more reviews before I order mine for the FAST 102.

How does the spring feel? Stiff or weak?

Ive felt the ebay 102 TB. Spring is stiff, it feels like a solid piece. And it is not an on/off switch. That was an early error on the DBW 102s. FAST changed the angle of the throttle shaft and added the hump to the bottom so that at low speeds air would only flow over the top of the TB, improving driveability/idle quality

^ Right.. I've read about that through the FAST reviews on their 102 setup. But I mean, essentially.. It's kinda funny in a way. I'll prolly get the eBay TB then. Others say, "Get a NW and do it right the first time!" But if an eBay 102 is basically the same design as the FAST 102, then I'll save $300 on it! For the same piece.

I bought the 92mm,the hole for the iac motor, was to small,I enlarged the hole no big deal.had to trim the bottom of the body because it hit the water pump, still no big deal.was checking the tsp signal on my scaner, and with the screw all the way out,it showed 20 %,checked my buddies throttle body,it looks like the shaft was machined wrong.now because I modifed it,I can send it back!buyer beware.

I bought the 102 TB (and coupler/bellows), but the motor wont be in my car for at least a month (not more than 2), so i dont have any "drivability" comments about it yet, but it sure feels good and is nice and smooth too.

I got to go into the store to buy it and the guys were pretty cool.

BUT...the first TB they brought out was crap. The butterfly was lightly rubbing on the TB, and i wasn't crazy about that. The 2nd one I got was like butter! The spring feels nice and stiff and it's a double spring like the others.

In the pic above it looks like the 102 is bigger on one side, but i did not have the TB centered, it was just a quick mock-up (it's being ported by Tony Mamo). He also told me the TPS needed to be opened up a bit but i'm not gonna sweat it.

I just can't wait to get it installed. Also, it didn't not come with mounting bolts or washers, but we've got a place here in Burbank that sold me AWESOME allen headed black bolts.

^ No mounting screws?? Cheap asses.. It's not like the stockers will work.

I can prolly find some, but It may be hard around here. And as far as the TSP, you can turn that on these, right? Last time I messed with one was on my 85 Firebird and you had to "clock" the TPS with a volt meter. And that MAF looks WAY too big, IMO.. But only the tuner will be able to say otherwise. I'm doing an 85 on mine.

And our injectors plug into LS3 rails Ok? No difference is sizes with the o-Rings?

^ Talk to the right people and you can get a deal.

My intake came in today. No TB though. Gotta wait a couple weeks for that. (work slowed down) I'm really nervous about taking some sand paper to this thing to smooth out the rough edges. I don't even like taking it apart. Scared of fukin it up. This isn't a $50 part here.

Some nice 102 setups you guys are showing off! What kind of injectors are you guys all using? What about your heads/cam to go with it? I've been looking alot at these FAST setups and waiting to bite the bullet and order it.

yes,the problem is when you hook up the scaner to it,it shows 23% throttle when it supposed to be 0%.

When you did the relearn on it did you:

Have Engine off
Pull out the TPS connector
Turn the on ignition
SES light should come on, wait for it
After SES comes on, turn ignition off
Plug back in TPS connector

Then start it and scan it. It should read 0%, that works pretty much all the time for me. Sorry if you've already done all that, just making sure.

I still bought my RevXtreme 100mm for a good price, but you always find something a little bit cheaper down the road.
