Default How ro run a breather with these valve covers?

Guys I ordered these valve covers for my 2000 trans am. How am I gonna be able to run a breather on the oil fill? Can anyone tell me if its okay to do a pcv delete on my car? I change oil every 2500 miles and it is an occasional street strip car.

id guess get some options are
1. add AN fittings welded at the rear and run hoses to a catch can
2. add ls6 valley cover and you can run from TB to cover

have a fitting welded onto them so that you can run a breather... problem solver. If you are one of the picky type people have a bung welded onto both sides

I'd go the LS6 valley route to help keep your intake, heads and chambers clean.. Not to mention reduced oil consumption.

i do everything i can to save from consumption.. i think nasty nate, or some of the other valve cover vendors make a filler cap like those come with, but it has an npt or an or some kind of fitting to run your pcv. ls6 swap is another good alternative.

If you're gonna mount the coils as intended, it'll be difficult to find a spot for a breather. You could punch a hole in the top "edge" (short side) for an AN fitting and run a hose to an off-site breather.

Do u think you could drill and tape the adaptor and put in a threaded hose fitting to keep the pcv line?...

Since I'm ditching the pcv system I think I'm going to have fittings welded to each valve cover then run those lines to a T fitting to a catch can with a breather on it.

They look like eBay ones, but I'd like to know as well.

YES......but watch out for oil that may leak pass the non-baffled filter.

Is that gonna cost you any horsepower? What are the bad effects of doing that?

Completely eliminates the possibility of oil getting sucked into your intake manifold. Really the only bad thing that I've heard is your oil gets dirtier quicker. But I change my oil every 2000 to 2500 miles and use Royal Purple.
