I race in an index series so I'm not gonna go too far this year otherwise I'll be caught in between index's and have to dump a bunch of weight back in. Anyway, nice thread magnet. I've been following it for a while now. I'm interested to see how your car does this year.
11.50 index i assume, you can always pat the gas if your ahead in the top end. Done it many times myself in that same index class

12.00 actually. I wouldn't be able to run 11.50 in the summer heat. And I definitely play with the gas if I'm ahead. It's all heads up so it's usually pretty close.

Understandable, only way to find out is to run it after the diet and mods. Ought to run 11.5X somehow.

I dont know why you would attempt E85 though. Alcohol has less useable energy per volume than gasoline. Your power would decrease with E85. The only place you could use alcohol and make more power than the same engine with gas is in situations where gas would not be feasible (super high compression or massive heat etc). You would need significantly more E85 fuel to be burnt to make the same power as the same amount of gasoline without alcohol. Though most these days is E15.
You're an internet expert know it all.

MSD coils are junk, pulling the belt is ricer, and stop spreading this stupid ******* bullshit about ethanol. You have no idea what the **** youre talking about.

IMHO that 102 set up you got going is going to hurt you.. Espically on a SI and stock CI motor...

Good Luck though

I am very interested on that point. Too many arguments on both sides.
