Also, there seems to be two options for wire connections on the TSP MAF. My car uses a 3 wire connection. I think I'll try to un-pin the unused plug for a cleaner look.

This beast is coming together. Still waiting on a catch can and a base tune. Damn car has been in my garage since June, but it shouldn't be long before I fire it up

Anyone know the correct part# for the GTO LS2 water pump?

I found a few different part #'s and want to make sure I don't end up with the vette model.

i have fast 102 and ls1 water pump, had to grind the water pump, and the back of intake to clear my oil pressure switch, if not i would have broken the sensor, i have a 402 ls2 block. also fell pray to the skinny injectors deal, had to ditch my 1 summer new inj, for the skinny bosch green with the large O rings that came with the intake.

I added some links to the first post. Anything I can find that would be useful, I added.

So will ls1 style injectors work with the 102 and fuel rails?

Yes they will. FAST sells a kit for this. It uses different mounting brackets for the fuel rails and different o rings I believe.

For those who haven't seen it, this is another really good thread about the FAST 102.

Run the FAST 146032-KIT and they will work right. That is what I am running.

and here is my port job, i only took 1 picture, but the ports all look like this. Should I massage the ports any further? Or should this be good enough?

Ok let me condense 9 p[ages so I can under stand.

My 102 with the correct fast rail will be fine on a LS1
IF I have the EWP no grinding needed
The MAP can be relocated or turned up wards to clear firewall
I didnt see much info on the oil pressure switch one person said they had to grind intake?
LS3/LS6 valley cover is needed to clear

Is that about the gist of it?

^ You don't need the LS6 intake. I just did it to help keep some oil out of the intake.

I didn't have a problem with the oil pressure sending unit. But I've have developed a intake install "routine" with these cars anyway. Haven't broken an oil unit yet. Left hand in front of the intake, Right hand in back of the intake, lay on the driver's side headlight and gently inch the intake back into place holding the brake booster line up and away from the OPSU with your right hand.

And I'm stuck waiting on frickin parts AGAIN.. Arrgh.. Waiting on my trans fluid so I can change it and put the car back down. But the car is a little easier to work on when it's on jack stands.

^ The 102 comes with the pan-head valley cover bolts also. One less thing you'll need.

i had the probleme with the oil pressure switch, it was hitting the manifold, i had to grind the rear of the intake until it cleared, i used some play-dough to check my clearence, my combination of parts was ls2 valley cover and stroker 402 with the fast 102, and the original ls1 sensor. had to grind a good chunk off.

Oh.. And you'll need port seals for the intake to head. Just thought of it..

And pick up some new injector O-rings for the tops of the injectors.

Guys, lots of the questions you're all still asking have been covered in here. It's all over the place, but the 9 pages have good info..... just take the time to read it all.

I covered some other stuff on the last page as well (but not about the OPSU:

Here is my set-up, and I hope it helps some of you out:
-FAST 102 (Mamo ported soon)
-FAST 60# injectors (LS2 style with LS1 harness adapters) NO spacer kit required
-MAP extension for front install (it's mighty tight behind the intake on a Camaro/T/A)
-Godspeed 102 TB (sensor holes need a little "opening up")
-4" connector/bellows
-Callaway 100mm MAF
-FTP 104 lid (just arrive today)
-AC Delco LS2 Water pump (to avoid grinding the OG water pump)
-FAST LS2/Stock style fuel rails

The list above has made my life easy!

Now... the issues below might serve to help others:

The waterpump - Buy a new one for $190 like I did to avoid the grinding or just grind yours....which is a pain.

Injectors - Now we know there is an injector issue, you need the skinnier ones. The skinny LS injectors car be used, but you'll need the FAST spacer kit. The fuel rail will also sit higher due to the spacers. Remember, the 102 is an LS2 based manifold, so LS2 rails SHOULD be used to avoid any leaks and to get the best fitment.

Inline Nitrous Set-ups - Depending on the nitrous set-up, it may not clear a cowl/stock hood.

Strut Tower Braces - Do not fit with 102's. 6litereater is addressing the issue with a new custom design. As soon as my motor is in, we'll begin test fitting.

Are there any other issues to help others out with?

And there was a guy who posted in here somewhere about the Meziere with the 102. I don't remember if there were clearance issues or not.
Yes, the LS2 water pump is a direct bolt in replacement on an LS motor. It's practically the same motor. LS/LQ have lots of interchangeable accessories.

PS: I'm the guy who posted the pictures.

Do you know the part number for the AC Delco LS2 water pump? I have been searching their web site but the photo they portray has the hump. Additionally, where exactly did you purchase your pump? Was it from Autozone or any of the other name brand retailers? Thanks

This is the actual shop I bought my Water pump from. It's a dealership in the midwest that has an eBay store. (Jim Butler Chevrolet, MO.)

Part # on the receipt is: 19195105

WOW, check out rockauto.com. Just cut and paste the WP part number above.... BLOWS away the price I paid, my roommate Zechs told me about this place. Might have to try them in the future. It says it's an AC Delco part, but I can't verify it.

Hope that helps.
