Exclamation Scarpping sound

I just finished installing my LT and ory and now I have a scrapping clunking sound underneath the driver seat. It only happens when I take off and not when I'm rolling. What could this be?

probably the header collector/y pipe hitting the floor pan when you accelerate. annoying but not a big deal. I just loosened my y and pulled on it until it was a little lower and retightened. or you could fix it by buying a Mufflex bracket. Click here for link It's the last part on the last page of that website.

I tried pulling ory down and nothing...any other suggestions? Before I order that stuff from mufflex. Is it true that this will affect my knock sensor

Like stated, it's probably your exhaust hitting the bottom of the car. Mine did the same thing after the headers and x pipe were installed.

I am sure it can affect the knock sensors.
I also added new motor mounts when I was doing my build which I am sure helps stop mine from banging. You may have to look into doing that also. I just know adjusting my y-pipe was the biggest improvement.

When I had my duals put in with stock mani's it hit under the drivers side. I just took it back to the shop and they installed an exhaust mount under the seat and welded it to the pipe. Problem solved

mine did the same thing. turns out it it there is a sheet of metal (silver in color) alongside the driver side that serves no ourpose and the headers were scrapping against it.

easy enough to take off

It's a common problem and yes it can affect the knock sensors, which will basically cost you power. I tried several different things to cure this problem and finally installed poly motor mounts, which have proven to be the answer for me.
