Default Suggestions???

i recently bought a 01 Z28 A4 and im wanting to start modding it..... i purchased a SLP lid already and im wondering what should be done next...... im not wanting power adders anytime in the near future...my list of things to do is full exhaust, stall, cam, and gears.......what would be the first thing to do??

full exhaust and tune....i like the TSP headers for the price. this is assuming you have done a full service on the car. all fluids and filters, brakes, belts, whatever it needs. where you at in texas?

get everything you can afford installed first. remember youll need money for tuning.

im from Lufkin tx but im working in La Porte......i was thinking the pacesetters coated with magnaflow....im gona be doing one mod a month...i was thinking doing the exhaust first but i just wanted opinions from ppl that have been down this road before...this is the first fbody ive owned

sounds good to me. i am just south of houston. if you do full exhaust dont forget it will need a tune. good luck. there are a lot of threads to help you out on here.

yeah this website is pretty good....ive been reading it for almost a month now...but alot of ppl on here do alot more to their cars than im wanting lol....im just wanting this to be a good running car and take to the track ever so often.... its different rules here in baytown at the track...got kicked off for no helmet....didnt know you had to have one if your faster than 13.9 LOL

i already have the ls6 intake so thats covered....im just curious of what to do after the headers....do i go with gears first or cam or stall.....i mean if i was a wealthy person i could do it all at once but that nots the case....like i said im gona do one thing a month....guess this month im doing the headers so i gues i have a few weeks to decide what the next mod will be

Then save up for a cam swap !

I also am a middle class guy that (***** ON A BUDGET) lol

Im in the middle of buying stuff for a cam swap, all the small crap adds up

yeah im gona do the pacesetter coated longtube with y pipe and magnaflow all at once...then i was thinking either gears or stall next lol......just really dont know if i wana do the stall right now being that the tranny has a 100k on it now and dont know if it will hold up lol

go with full suspension after the exhaust is complete.

Remember u can have 500 horses but if u cant hook a 350 hp car that does hook will walk you !
