torchd you say you have a 3" x 3" x 25" Powerstick Bullet Muffler but I don't see that size on their site.

I don't remember what size the stock I pipe diameter is, but the powersticks come in different size inlets and outlets so they will have something that will work.

Well I don't think buying an I pipe and then just cutting it makes sense. I think I'm going to do true duals down the road but for now the 2.5 power stick will work on my stock I pipe right?

Awesome thread. I'm getting GMMG this weekend and will immediately be ordering a powerstick bullet. I plan on getting Kooks LTs/ORY soon, as well. This thread got me really excited

UPDATE on my setup: Before I left on deployment I finally bought the new stainless TSP 1 7/8 LTs with the ORY. Installation was pretty simple, got a tune and as I was standing off to the side listening to my exhaust during the dyno runs I thought to myself "holy **** it sounds like my dad's old modified dirt tracker!" It was really loud and had that nasty rasp from 2100-2500rpm. I took my car along with that 3" powerstick to a very reputable exhaust shop in Virginia Beach (the muffler shop) and they installed it, against the grain for $40. They were amazed at the finish of the headers and ORY and never heard of the "powerstick" before. They cranked up the car before they installed the stick and revved it up some to hear it before and then the same afterwards and they were even more amazed at the difference it made, as was I! Even my gf loves that it's still loud, but quiet cruising. This is one of the best threads on here! MAD Props to TORCHD!!

TORCHD, sorry if this has been asked before, but I see you put in the 25" powerstick, will the 31" powerstick fit? I have stock manifolds and cats if it makes a difference. I just got it installed a few hours ago and while I'm very happy with how it sounds on the outside, but on the inside there is a lot of drone after 2k rpms. I got rid of the flowmaster because I hated the cheap sound and the resonance, but now I have different resonance. I'm hoping some sound deadener and a powerstick will help.

Just some info I want to add regarding this thread. The title may be a little misleading depending on what the rest of your mods are. My friend has a GMMG exhaust. His car is a h/c/i car running AFR heads, MS3 cam and fast102. He dynoed at 468rwhp on a dynojet. He added the powerstick and it did very little to reduce rasp. I cannot tell any improvement or difference in sound quality.
The powerstick may help for bolt on or slightly modified cars. On cars making more serious power, the powerstick doesn't seem to help much for reducing rasp.
