Default gains from a 4 inch bore

Wat kind of gains would i see if i bored my 1998 ls1 from the 3.896 bore to a 4.000 inch? Its possible even tho the walls r thin rite

Not possible, without sleeving. 3.905 is as big as you can go.

on 97-98 blocks, 3.903 is max.

99+ 3.908 is max but pushing your luck. 3.905 is usually said to be max.

Like said above, Get a LS2 block they are 4.00" bore from the factory, I have a LS2 in my car right now and its bored .030" over (4.030") But a LS1 can not be bored that big, the sleeve are just to thin, .005" is about max. And you can not bore any LS block .104" over like your wanting to do with factory sleeves.
