Default Kooks Dual Exhaust into CME Install

Fabbed up the true duals this weekend to my ARH headers and CME tip. Had to make the two pipes off the X pipe longer to hook up to the headers. Other than that chopped the tips off the mufflers and bought 2 stainless 90* bends for the cme tip. Finishing it up and will have a more pics and a video of it this weekend .

Used V-band clamps to attach the cme tip with 90* bend welded on. I think I read something on here there was suppose to be a different heat shield with the kit but it didn't come with it nor did instructions (wouldn't have used them anyways but still for people who need them)

Only thing I didn't like about this kit well so far is the brackets, there's 2 brackets to put rubber hangers on and they have 2 holes to mount bolts trought and have no idea where they would have gone the hook shaped ones were self explainatory but I made my own ill get those pics up soon too. Maybe I could have used those instructions just for the brackets lol. But also the bracket from where it hangs from the tranny I had to make my own for that also. Forgot to thank my good friend mike (quik95lt1) for helping me also.

Im also going to do a dyno test with having the v band clamp at the end of the mufflers im going to see how much power is lost/gained with them on and off should be good and to see if I gain any power from the old y pipe/ merge/3.5 cutout

So other than Cutting off the Tips as close to the mufflers as possible, we're there any other modifications you had to do to fit the CME on Flush with the bumper?

Looks Good from what I can see though!

I thought for sure the mufflers would be too far back to make the final 90* bend before the CME tips, but I was clearly wrong. Nice work!

It actually is just right the pass. Side is a little tighter than the driver but still worked if I wasn't able to get the tips on I was going to run a short turn down and mount the cme tip as a dumby
