This response is realistic. One thing you did not let anyone know is if money is a factor.

OP there is not point in doing a FAST intake on your setup, 01ssa4 had the best response so far and a very valid point, and to add to it... You could buy a cam and an LS6 intake and hell even a ported throttle body too for LESS than a FAST intake and a throttle body that would go with that FAST intake alone.

Also with your setup the heads will be a much larger restriction than the intake, you could buy some good heads and have them installed for what a FAST intake and a throttle body would cost and see far larger gains. Until you have heads and cam you are not maximizing your setup enough to warrant a FAST intake, that is if you want the most hp for your dollar.

Just think about it, with a small cam and stock heads a FAST intake is going to net you 10-15 more hp than the LS6 intake..maybe, is 10-15 hp worth 1000-1400 dollars? Can you spend less money and get 10-15 hp somewhere else in your setup? Most likely the answer is a HELL YES.

As mentioned above, your heads are going to be the biggest cork in your system rather than the intake. Get the LS6 and use the money you saved from not buying the FAST towards some heads better suited for your setup.
