Default Edelbrock Pro-Flo XT LS1 EFI Intake Manifold

Anyone have or tested one of these? I did a quick search and haven't seen anything on it.

This thread changed my mind on the intake, but it appeares that the opinions vary. I hope this helps.

Is any one here that did a comparison between this intake and the fast 90/90 or 102/102 ?

It gains above 5500 rpm and loses big below that on a NA app. So for anything less than a racecar a fast will do better. On a boosted app its among the best choices.

What about the Holley Hi-Ram, is that one only for LS3?

It's been done, it acts like its designed to, it is a budget sheetmetal intake. It's great for NA cars that live above 5000 or turbo cars but other than that I wouldnt run it

Does this intake work better on a larger cubed motor. How bout a cammed LQ9. Seems to be a great intake for boosted motors.

To my judgement they are only a few people that did a fair test. But that is not enoth data to take fair desition on this intake!

Im looking to order this intake for a boosted 370 build, could i get away with using the stock tb or should i invest in an aftermarket 85/90?

if you keed the stock tb it going to be a bottle neck and you not going to use the full potential of the intake go with a bigger TB like 85 or 90. In the near future i think i going to buy one too.

Ive done the testing personally on an engine dyno, and this is 100% correct.

I have this intake and will have the install finished today. I have to run the stock TB for now but thats okay. Tests I've seen have been great! You need the correct set up for this intake. Heads, cam and all that stuff.

No offense sweet, but it gets old that you come in and **** on intakes that don't have the FAST logo on them. You say you have results but never back them up.

I will have results hopefully in a few weeks.

Incorrect, Im all about the right manifold for the right application. It just happens the LS6 or FAST is the most correct for 90% of people, depending on budget.

If you go drag racing often, and very little street time, so you spend a substancial part of your engines life in the higher RPM range....The Pro-Flow, Holley HiRam, and all the other short runner intakes manifolds are more optimal and will make 10hp,or so, @6500RPM+ over even the FAST, but at the cost of low RPM torque and drivability.

You dont have to post a dyno graph to share your experiences.......
