For you guys bolting up Headers..

Instead of using the POS Extensions that you get for/with the LT Headers I've been re-wiring the rear O2 Sensor Connectors to be the primary ones, then clipping the front two Connectors off.

Since most of us do LS1 F-bodies this will help out alot..it saves $50 on extensions that you burn up a month later..lol
If I can get ahold of the PCM diagrams for C5 & C6 Corvettes, and LT1 Cars I can put that info out here too.
Now for those of us that like to get our hands dirty & think outside the box it takes 10 min to do and saves $50..so take it fwiw when you burn your extensions..

I'll do it here in a little bit..I'll take pics..

Find the PCM..that thing there in the corner.

Using a 7mm sized tool loosen the bolt in the middle of the top Connector..this is the blue Connector..

Remove the plastic guard..some are brittle..that's why this one is cracked..

If you look closely you can see the PIN Numbers above & below the wires..

Flip the Connector over and with a pic carefully remove the retaining clip..depress the little tab in the slot on each side of them and slightly pull..

To remove the Pin just push it forward a hair, then with your finger nail pull up on the tab..then pull the pin through the other side..

Then when you have the other one out just push it through and it locks in place. When you are finished put everything back together and you are done..

Here's the ones you switch again..

If you notice in the pic I already have it done..that car is one of the guys that I live with..we just built it.

It might take more time to do this than to just run an extension..but the way I see it is the wires are there so might aswell use them & save money.

This is really good info to have and there are mutliple threads that include it. Just do a search for "PCM Pins".
