kooks 1 7/8 kooks ory and magnaflow catback
I have searched all over here and the web to no avail.
I am looking to buy Kooks 1 7/8 and kooks ory,I already have the magnaflow catback.
Does anyone have a sound clip of this setup?
I don't want to spend all this money on the Y pipe if i am going to get rasp from it.
Thanks

i forget the name of the guy, but he put a powerstick backwards in the I-pipe and it cut the rasp out apparently. longtubes and y pipes generally = rasp lol. there are a bunch of clips on youtube, but generally the cars have a cam in it.

I have tsp 17/8 and tsp ory with a magnaflow muffler not the catback but its close and its very quiet until 3500 rpm. Has a very tamed sound to it, have had no rasp at all .. its almost like as if I wish I wanted mayby a little bit but I'm happy.

Hi there, just go to ls1sounds.com and you will find huge amounts of every type of configuration you could think of. This would include what you are looking for as well.

The Kooks Y-pipe merger, it's a really poor excuse for a Y-pipe merger. IMO, rasp is pretty much a guarantee with that merger, or should we say "collider". http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images...c03505ts0.jpg/

Yeah, what that kook mergers really needs to fix it is one 90*mandrel bend, and one 45* mandrel bend, and a Vibrant Y-merger with 3" inlets and 3.5" outlet, or with a 4" outlet, easy fix that would be $200 you shouldn't need to spend in the first place If they would do the merger right.
Then it would be up to the standards of their headers.

Wow that y pipe definitely doesn't stand up to kooks header reputation. I guess i will persue another y pipe,so will the tsp y pipe bolt to the kooks headers and cat back?
