Default Best way for the quietest exhaust

My car is a 2001 trans am with tsp 228r, ported and polished 243 heads with fast 90 intake and throttle body, with 1 3/4 long tubes, just the headers right now. I want to know what exhaust I can use and it be quiet as possible. Any help is greatly appreciated

Keep the cats, that will eliminate a lot of the rasp.

Dynomax Super Turbos have been the best flowing quieter exhaust on the market for many years.

I have a 3" set up on my car which will be notably louder than the 2 1/2". Check out how sneaky this set up is:

People at the track tell me my car looks even faster going down the track because it is quiet.

I just got done putting the SLP Dual Dual on my car, which has factory manifolds and cats, and it sounds like a hybrid going down the road, doesn't make a noise, which is why I got it for when I go to long tubes in a month so I can keep the noise level down. Heres what it sounds like with long tubes and no cats.

My wife's setup is 799s, EPS 227/230, SLP L/Ts, High flow cats, and Magnaflow Catback. It is nice, and quiet at idle, and driving around, but gets decently loud when you get on it. IMO, its a great combination. Sounds deep at idle, and has practically no rasp higher up. We actually switched from an LM1 so we knew rasp well lol.

i have the 228R and the best i could do (so far) was to run a catted y with a dynomouth resonator to a magnaflow muffler. the dynomouth muffler was from my tsp rumbler, so you could say i'm running 2 mufflers. my goal was to make it not sound obvious (driven in california) and i'm content.

Right now mine is running LTs and an off road y-pipe with a Bassani catback. It was loud with the H/C 346, it's even louder now with the stroker.

I might put the stock muffler with a cut out back on mine. Ten second car with a stock catback

I have a 230/236 cam, long tubes, ory, and a Borla catback. Closed up it is very quiet. I keep it closed and have a DMH cutout under the passenger seat in the I pipe. You could also run the DMH cutout where the plates go in the Borla and be quiet/loud as hell whenever you want.
