I have the same two step and don't have a single complaint about it. I would definitely recommend one to someone.

A 2 step is like a "trans brake" for a manual trans.

Automatic cars have two steps too. All a two step does is cut spark to limit the amount of RPM's the motor can turn, and the rpm is determined by whatever you set it to. Two steps are not for manual cars only.

If you dont need it for retarding timing, MSD is the best and very simple to hook up and works great.

a two-step is not like a trans brake, not sure where you come up with that.

Please elaborate on your statement.....They have no similarities at all. A transbrake goes in the valvebody of the transmission and causes the car to be locked in a forward gear and reverse at the same time. Were as a two step simply cuts spark to limit rpm.

Default Lingenfelter 2-steps

We make two different versions of our 2-step.

One has two separate RPM limiters so it is a true 2-step. That product is our LNC-003 and it sells for $214.95.

The other model has one RPM limiter setting and also has the ability to retard timing (up to 15 degrees) based on an input trigger (for nitrous) or a 3 bar MAP sensor (for boosted applications). That product is our LNC-2000. That product sells for $274.95.

Both devices are plug and play on the coil connections. The wiring required depends on your trigger method. We have many example wiring configurations in our installation instructions that can be downloaded from our web site.

Gm, with your stock computer and efi live you can run a custom operating system and wire in a switch to your pcm to operate it.
