Default QTP Longtubes won't slide in

I have a 2001 trans am and just bought some QTP headers off of ebay. I believe they were off of a 98 camaro. I have my manifolds off spark plugs out coil packs and valve covers off. I know the headers must be installed from the bottom but I cannot manage to get them in. I can get the drivers side about half way up and have no idea how to get the passenger side in. Any ideas will be greatly appreciated. Thanks!!!

This.. Also stand them on their end too install. pas side usually goes in alot easier than driver side. Unbolt mm and jack the engine up if needed

Good luck your not the first one to have problems getting them in. The biggest help is if you have a aftermarket k member it makes them a piece of cake then. They will go in but you will have to force them in, I would try removing the drivers side motor mount that is normally the side that I have always had problems with. And then jack the motor up a little bit to get it away from the k member.

Thanks for all the responses I will try removing the motor mount. It just seems like the passenger side will be harder then the drivers. Im pretty sure the longtubes for the 98 camaros will fit a 01 trans am but could anyone confirm this.

Thats what I thought the headers are race headers so they dont have the AIR or EGR
