Default Dynatech split flow muffler

Looking at running a oval
3.5 in muffler straight off my custom ARH 3.5in y-pipe

Anyone run these mufflers?

Sound good ?

Loud as a bullet muffler?

Have you modified the floor pan to fit a oval muffler without clearance issues?
If you have then get a Dynomax Ultra Flo Welded #17517($100), or a Magnaflow #14151($126)
If you haven't then your best option is to get a Borla XR1 #40086($125).

No

But wouldn't the oval fit better than a round muffler?

Thanks for the help

I've had a ultra flo before they sound good... I have considered it also

I have the Borla#40086 on the end of the Y-pipe merger exit, it's the biggest that'll fit with minimal clearancing, and not lose any ground clearance.

There's room for a 5" diameter muffler (Borla #40086) if you want to maintain you ground clearance, if loosing ground clearance isn't a issue for you then you can fit a oval muffler in that location.

FYI, I didn't post up #40085, I posted up Borla #40086 3.5" in/out, 5" diameter case muffler.

I have the dynatech splitflow in the 4'' version... it sounds pretty good and is just as loud as a bullet.

If you get the borla post up that clip as well... I wanted that one but didn't want to fork out that much cash on a muffler I might not like.
