Default Fast 102 with LS1 injectors .

Hey guys,

I'm a little confused about the Fast 102 setup on LS1 , I already have an OEM LS2 fuel rail and fast 36 (ls1) injectors , I know the ls1 injector is tall and I’ll have to get a spacer for the rails but the question is , will the (ls1) injectors fit the ls2 rail directly ? What other things I might need?

Thanks.

no, LS2 injectors are shorter, and have a different plug. The rail won't sit on the intake so you can bolt it down. There is an adapter kit to make it work, I can't remember who sells it, but the magic Google knows

****, I just re-read your post. You should be good, you have the adapter kit, and other than that, it should be plug and play

You need;

Lower orings (comes with 146302 manifold)
Spacers (between fuel rails and manifold)
Bolts (for fuel rail/spacer/manifold)
Washers

Your basically making a 146021-KIT but using your own fuel rails. Call FAST and get the extra parts. They have them already.

Hey bud, you may remember you answered someone in the fueling section on this site on this topic... I replied that I thought my LS1 lower o-rings would work? Well turns out you were right and I found the correct o-rings in the box with the manifold. So stock LS1 lower o-rings work on a Typhoon, but NOT the FAST (just for clarification)!

On the LS1 injector on the LS2 rails, shouldn't we convert to an LS2 top o-ring? I asked for 06 GTO top o-rings at the parts store, and they are definitely beefier. I test fitted them in my LS2 fuel rail, and they fit well, haven't tested the LS1 o-rings in the LS2 rail... thoughts?

Ive run the LS1 style injectors in the LS2 rails, without swapping the upper oring, a ton of times.

Never had a failure.

And lock washers.... Your welcome!!!

Oh yeah, the orings only come with the cathedral port intake #146302. So if you did an LS3 head swap, and planning on using the LS3 FAST #146102, youll need to order the orings seperate as well.

I'll get the cathedral ports intake and not planning to switch to rectangular ports .

Cathedral port heads FTW

Thanx again .

What about for those of us that did not get the Orings with our used fast 102 intake. I was told the lower orings from a 94-95 5.0 mustang work on the ls1 injector and the 102 intake

This is a good question. Does anyone have a part number or know exact make/model/yr of car to order a set for? About to get my setup installed but need lower o-rings.
