Default stock manifolds vs. lt/ory with magnaflow

How much louder will my magnaflow be with lt and ory compared to stock manifolds? whoever has this set up do you like it or did you swap it out for something else?

Well, I'm running a Magnaflow with an O/R Y and stock manifolds currently, I can tell you that with just the O/R Y, it's definitely a good bit louder versus being stock. So, I'm imagining that a set of LT's will only make it louder. It shouldn't be that bad though, the Magnaflow is really not that loud of a catback.

Just a little bit at around 2500-4000 RPM, but it's not that bad at all.

I've got a video of LTs/ORY and magnaflow on my youtube already, I'm uploading one with stock manifolds and y right now. I'll post both as soon as its done.

edit:

here's magnaflow catback only:

full exhaust:

2nd edit:
i find myself saying this a LOT. but excuse that dirty ****.

3rd edit:

i will say, with ORY it does have some rasp, but i'd say thats expected. maybe its just me, but it seems like less rasp when under load. here's an example:

Oh, totally forgot to mention it. Sorry, glad you asked though. The y and I pipes are the same diameter, I was able to band clamp them.together and.it was stout enough to drive, and I did for a while. Took it to an exhaust shop to have it fixed though because I had a leak. Not a big deal, just something to plan for.

Just did this install last night. The stock I pipe will go in but not easily. I have to go get mine welded today I think as its on 3/4 of an inch but it should be on much further. The stock stuff has so much rust built up on it that it just won't push in and you have no real way of forcing it. Definitely something to plan for as it will take a lot of time to sand it down and get it to fit, not a quick thing.

I have the magnaflow on already so there shouldnt be any rust. How much ground clearance do you have with the bbks?

About 2 inches more than the factory stuff, it tucked up way better. It's snowing but I'll try to get you a picture and post it up.

the ORY will def. make it louder...headers themselves don't really make a car louder but usually give it a better smoother sound. Taking out the cats with the OR pipe will def. make it louder

S8ER95z thanks a lot man the clearance isn't bad at all. Now you need a cutout.
