Camaro SS Hurst Shifter?
Have a Camaro SS with a leather wrapped Hurst knoob, was this an option on the Camaro ss 1998? What is the name of this option if it is one?, The codes on my SLP door sticker has faded.

the Hurst in my 2000 T/A was an option, the guy I bought it off of gave me the original window sticker from the car. It says $325. Mine doesn't hit anything in second, could be different being pontiac. Not sure...all I know is I gotta get the plug in to disab;e the skip shift...annoying

Hehe, I have ordered a new one, "old school" style hurst knoob, how do you loose this hurst leather knoob from the stick? It's stuck like hell, can't see any clips or something in the front of the knoob and cant twist it to loose....How does it sitt?
On a new Hurst leather knoob on ebay they describe it like this:
"Hurst black leather shift **** for OE T56 shifters (M16 thread). Embossed "H" logo. This would be factory installed on 96-02 Camaro/Firebird cars with the factory installed Hurst shifter. Simple installation, just tighten by hand."
I cant twist my, then i will break my shift stick^^

My 02 SS had the hurst shifter and when I was changing it out I realized the the Hurst **** wasn't a thread type. Although my shifter looked different than the picture. Mine was alot shorter.
Either way I got the short stick that UMI makes you lift up the shift boot and there's 2 bolts. Put the UMI stick on it then just thread the **** of your choice works perfect IMO. Hope this helps.
