Default 383 crankshaft question - already searched

Looking a building a "budget" 383 ls1. I will do forged rods and pistons. But I had a question about cranks. I have read the stock is good for 750+hp which is much more than i would make. Does anyone offer a non-forged crank to make a 383 ls1. I just don't want to pay $800+ for a crank if I don't need to.

Negative, cranks are not cheap. If you are spraying leave the stock crank in it.

I went with a 370 VS 408 cause it was a grand difference. If I'm hitting it with a 300 hit I could care less about that extra 15HP for a grand. Just my outlook.

OP feel free to give us a call. We have several different rotating assembly offerings to meet your goals, and your budget. We only offer the stroker rotating assemblys with aftermarket forged cranks of course, but I think you will be suprised what we can get you into a quality balanced assembly for. If you decide to go with a stock stroke build we can take care of that for you as well.
