ls6 to lq9 motor mount question

and with the LQ9, the holes on the leftmost side of the block, aren't there. ( left of 4.5 arrow, and right of 5.75 arrow)
what the fudge can i do?
I have truck, f body, gto, and vette mounts. They all bolt to the 4 existing holes in the iron or aluminium block. Could there have been an adapter plate between the block and your mounts?
My suggestion would be measure the width of the frame mounts. Get solid SBC/BBC motor mounts (your frame mounts have rubber isolators) and a set of adjustable adapter motor plates.
If you figure out how those motor mounts bolt up, let us know. Btw is one 3 bolt and the other 4 bolt?.....rings a bell but can remember where I saw it.
Any chance the CTS-V mounts bolted to the front 2 of the regular 4 bolt mounts and to the other rear bosses that might not be on the truck blocks? I know the brass coolant plug is different between truck and aluminum blocks, but never paid attention to the other block bosses.

Holes indicated as "1" have a bolt going through the factory mount, a steel plate, and into the block
Holes indicated as "2" have a small headed, strong allen head bolt going in (enough clearance to fit the mount over them)
Holes indicated as "3" are drilled and tapped, NOT in the block, obviously, but bolted to the steel, and I could use that side of the engine mount.
I'm out of ideas for the passengers side.

Bolt it close to the original location.
Or if you're handy, make your own adapter plates with your existing mounts.

thanks for the info.
something like what you showed me would be awesome if I could bolt my motor mounts into the middle of the adjustment plate.

Your frame mounts already have rubber/poly isolators. A simple solution might be to try solid SBC/BBC chevy motor mounts bolted to a standard swap plate flipped backwards (link below). That would center the mounts over the rear bolts.
