Is DMH still a sponsor? If so he shouldn't be.

That's not theres. Thats the cheap chinese knock off. Same one Summit and Jegs sells as there own. Your better off fixing your DMH unit than wasting your money on that POS.

So if DMH is no longer an option since their warranty isn't worth the paper it's written on. Is QTP the only other choice? Are there any other brands of e-cutouts you guys would recommend? I would like to get one for my car, but I want one that works like it was intended.

Anyone ever thought of building their own electric cutout using the motor from an electric throttle body wired through a switch or did I just give someone a good idea? Seems like those motors extremely reliable. My 03 yukon has one and after 180k miles of use I've never had an issue with it. If maybe there was a way to enduce the voltage through a switch that commands wide open for the motor. I believe it's a 5v source. Not sure though. Maybe it's not possible and thats why no one has tried.

Been trying to call DMH every once in a while but nothing... lol what a freaken waste of money! Wish I would be able to get my money back from Texas Speed.. but its whatever. Hard when a company just goes MIA & wont pick up phone calls. Owner of DMH reminds me of Mr. Hennessey himself screws people over & wont fix it. Guess that's how you make your money in today's business

Well my cheap Chinese knockoff did unfortunately break after a year and Summit sent me a brand new replacement free of charge. Seems like the DMH is about the same quality, higher priced, and 0 customer support or warranty. I'll keep my Summit cutout.

Surprised there has been no law suits on DMH??? I mean you get a product that doesn't even work & then try to contact the owner of the company for this "lifetime warranty" & he is MIA...

I try once every couple weeks.. emails etc.. still.. NOTHING

I'm still pissed it stopped working after only a couple months. So now I at least would like to have it fixed!

keep this thread alive until they either respond, or shut down their website.

Looks like someone is still in contact with them. They are running a GP. https://ls1tech.com/forums/sponsor-g...-train-gp.html
I guess his POS cutouts are catching up to him. Guess his warranty is biting him in the a$$.

Sorry for you guys that have issues with your cutouts.

If you went with QTP which sponsors this site you would not have these issues.

Ive been hearing lots of bad feedack on DMH also. Looks like QTP remains on top I bought my QTP Low profile cut out that fits 2.5inch and 3inch exhaust pipe last year, I have been using that cutout on my truck for daily drivin and that e cutout wont stop working the motor works great and even though I have been having the QTP cutout for over a year now when the butterfly valve is closed it still doesnt leak great purchase indeed!

my motor fell off after a week. been trying to get ahold of him since with no luck. i have had 2 QTP's on previous cars with no issue EVER. but everyone recommended dmh so i took the bait and went with them....def. regret it now.

i think im going to stop trying to get ahold of him and just try to repair myself. ...what's the worse i can do, break it...oh wait.
