I know this is an old thread, really excuse my ignorance all of y'all but any major differences from removing driver side head? Mine took a beating and cracked so I need to replace it but I see you said it was much harder to do the left side, any recommendations or input on how to remove it?

Thank you all very much in advance!

Yes. The left side on a C5 Corvette has a lot more crap that you have to remove. The power steering pump, ABS hardware, alternator and other things to boot. You REALLY have to be careful when disconnecting and reconnecting the lines to the ABS module. Really easy to cross-thread stuff there. I meant to do a writeup of that side but I had a hard drive crash and lost all the pictures. That sucked.

I guess my best bet is going to have to be to take it to a shop so they can do the head swap, might as well save up for some 243's while I'm at it. Thank you very much for replying to my message even though it was an old thread!
