extremely high idel
Wats up guy lost my old log in info so I started a new one but any way. Im having a idle issue. The car has heads, cam, intake and exhaust. I recently went from a slp loudmouth to a little quiter exhaust and wa do u know car starts to act funny. I have 2 codes coming up. Iac and tps. I changed both but still have high idle.today I checked all over for vacuum leaks and couldn't find one. I took my throttls body off to clean it and noticed it had no gasket. Could that be a problem even if it wasn't a problem before. I need help....

Its a typhoon intake and far as I know its a stock tb. I bought the car with all the mods done to it months ago. I sprayed carb cleaner by the front and it idled up so I thinks its the gasket.

My things I'm not if any ls1 gasket will fit. I know the stock ones are like oval ring style. The gasket I see that comes with the intake are diff. When I get back in town I'm gonna take it off in go from there.

I'm late but I did fix my problem. The intake was the culprit. The plate at the bottom had a bad gasket plus 3 bolts were stripped. So I put silcone on it and re threaded the bolt holes and problem was fixed. Thanks for all the info guys.
