1 7/8 headers came in great condition. These aren't show polished but look great and are well built. Mine installed into my 1971 Cutlass with no clearance issues whatsoever. Very satisfied. Thanks for a great product.

My only question is about the y-pipe. With it going to a smaller diameter will it still mate right up and seal with a GMMG chambered exhaust? I am looking at buying headers and y combo and was just wondering that.

Will there be a new revision on these 1 7/8 headers? Or is it all one version?

I just went to the exhaust shop and picked up a 2.5 to 3 inch adapter.

dkbmxer002: Probably not. All feedback and pictures we have received have been good.

Nilla: I doubt it. The F-Body driver side collector kicks out pretty far. They hit the frames of most trucks.

Mavn: Thank you for your order. Tracking should be updated to you via email/invoice, or eBay depending where you purchased from.

Dabom75: Not sure if GMMG exhaust works. I would assume so. You can always cut off the tip of the Y-Pipe making it 3".

Thanks
Sean

Installed mine tuesday. Fairly straight forward with a few snags. Had the second bolt hole to the rear on the passenger side needed the hole opened up a touch. Also the drivers collector points up to the bottom of the car and makes the y pipe impossible to install with out hammering either the pipe or the bottom of the car. However I noticed earlier in the thread you said you asked the plant to rectify this by aiming the collector down a touch. The y pipe also contacts the tranny mount of all places.

The car has brand new motor mounts however if I had sagging mounts I almost bet the install would be better. As I said when I emailed you. My phone died that night or I'd have pictures. I'll have the car back in the air tonight.

Got mine last Wednesday...VERY nice for what you pay for them. I am using them in a G body Cutlass so a little trimming to trans tabs is necessary to install them while the engine is in place. Will make a post about that shortly.

Can anyone point me to an install guide for these headers? I am hoping to do them myself, but Id like to follow some sort of write up first.

I received my headers and they look pretty good.

I went by this thread: https://ls1tech.com/forums/generatio...otsa-pics.html

It really helped more for the Motor Mount Install more than the headers and Y pipe. Some steps weren't necessary for me as well but most of it was spot on.

I have two questions as well:

1. I couldn't get the stock cross member(Tunnel Brace) back under the Y pipe. What are you guys using to remedy this? Stock member with longer bolts and a spacer or is there something else I can do?

2. My drivers side is banging some I think I might be able to tweak the two bits of the Y to angle it down and away some. But if its the header pointing up how are you guys bending it down a little?

Thanks
